My approach to landscape design begins with determining the type of spaces a client wants to have in their outdoor space. Do you want a firepit, and outdoor eating area, a place to sit and be alone, a kids play area? Once all those wants are determined, then the fun part of the design begins so that all the parts work cohesively together. Using easy to care for trees, shrubs and flowers, together we can create an outdoor area that you will love to be in. I help make this process fun and give you the knowledge you need to care for your new garden.

Growing your own fruits and vegetables is so rewarding, but it can definitely be overwhelming to get started. Whether in raised beds or in the ground mixed in with other landscaping, there are plenty of edibles that are easy to grow and care for. Who can benefit from a garden coach?

Anyone who wants to learn more about gardening and gain more enjoyment from their yard! I help clients with new landscaping or clients who want to change or add to their existing landscape. If you are overwhelmed at the garden nursery, or don’t know what to do with the plants when you get home, I can help with that! If you want to start a vegetable garden, but don’t know where to even begin, I can help with that! If you want to update your existing landscaping and give it a bit of a facelift, I can help with that! Just like a coach for a sports team helps bring out the best in their players, I am here to help you bring out the best in your garden and give you the confidence to turn your garden dreams to reality.

Pricing & Services offered

  • I like to keep things simple, so I charge a flat $50 per hour. Some clients take lots of notes and get the help they need in a couple of hours. Others want more help and its nice to know up front what it will cost. I do my best to give time estimates for various services requested. Services offered are:

    • landscape and garden design

    • recommended plant list

    • shopping trips to local nursery to help choose plants

    • plant placement in landscape

    • drip irrigation set up

    • answer any questions you may have on plant care and maintenance
